I am quite disappointed in myself since I moved to university to be honest. I had great plans of working hard and feeling totally different about my tertiary education than I did at highschool but honestly, I am not a good studier and I am the reigning king of procrastination. I know everybody thinks they are, but I hold the title and that's the way it is. I have done nothing all day and it is almost 6pm Saturday today. I have decided that from 7pm-9pm at least I will do some quality reading and note-taking on the play I went to see yesterday, 'Our Man In Havana'. It was a clever play and the use of four actors playing over 40 characters was impressive but at the same time the plot & story didn't really catch my interest, the accents were a bit off and hard to understand and the set and scenery was plain and I just didn't like it much.
I have to write a humongous essay (that makes up 25% of... I don't know what, my final mark for the course I think) so it's quite important I do well but I couldn't think of that many words to write if I tired. I wouldn't have even wrote a blog post that long in my entire blogging life! I can't believe how long I've been doing this blog - if I had devoted all of the time I spend writing this B.S. to studying I'd have gained scholarships and probably have been offered a place in America's Ivy League. Well, maybe not -- that'd be a tad of a stretch, but you get the point.
Anyway, time for me to head down to dinner now - the usual charming walking into the huge room, joining an annoying line for dinner and then sitting with some randoms because the seats next to people you know are all gone or you can't find them. Either's crap. Or even more annoyingly, everyone you know has just finished and is about to leave so you can't join them or else they feel obliged to stay and watch you eat which is not good. This is really disgusting, but I always forget to close my mouth! I have kind of a sensitive mouth and hot/cold foods always make me eat weird. Sexy huh. Plus when I drink from a glass I always suck on the surface on the water and slurp, ugh, I'll get smoker's lips soon - no idea why I do this, I'm a different sort. So unique. ;)
