The new labor report is out (here) and the news... well there aren't any news really. 216,000 jobs created, which is barely above what is needed to deal with the growth in the labor force. The unemployment rate is down to 8.8%, and the average duration of unemployment is up to 39 weeks. Meanwhile Nero (I mean Republicans) play the fiddle while Washington burns, err I mean shuts down.
