Here is a study which shows, allegedly, that women who reduce their red meat intake have less chance of heart disease.
Now, I have a question-- What would the result be if they fed them only grass fed beef? Is it beef that caused heart disease to increase, or is it the hormones and antibiotics left in red meat from the agri-business mob. Also, there are other chemicals and pollutants in red meat from all manner of sources.
You see, God told his people, starting with Noah in Genesis 9, to eat the animals, and beef was one of the staple foods of Israel. Would God not add beef to the required omission of pork if it were bad for us?
This is a classic example of how alleged "research science" comes right out of a cocked hat. These people refuse to consider the possibility that the cattle today are freaks, and the culprit is the greedy food industry and the USDA who look the other way.
Here is a classic example of self-blinded idiots. The Mayo Clinic tells you that grass fed beef has conjugated linoleic acid in it, which is missing from grain fed beef, but they claim that it is uncertain if this fact will be good for your heart. Duh !!
What is the bottom line in all this "science research" industry?
Answer: Science is not science anymore. It is a propaganda machine promoting the approved line of the USDA, FDA, National Institute of Health, and the Center of Disease Control AND big Pharma. I have been watching research from Europe, China, India, and Australia lately, and I find that they are more likely to be impartial in their "science" than the USA.
It really gets deadly when your doctor goes into a panic over your high cholesterol number. Lowered cholesterol has been proven, by real much research, to make NO difference in heart disease. But, Statin drugs make you very sick, cause deterioration of the cell walls resulting in leg pain, over long term cause brain atrophy, and make you more likely to commit suicide. Never mind-- YOU NEED STATINS. One day I expect the US Government to force VA and Medicare patients to take Statins or lose their health coverage.
There was a diet research related to longevity long ago-- VERY long ago. Here are the results:
Methuselah ate what he found on his plate,
And never as people do now;
Did he note the account of the calorie count.
He ate it because it was chow.
He wasn't disturbed as at dinner he sat,
Devouring a stew or a pie
To think it was lacking in granular fat,
Or a couple of vitamins shy;

Unmindful of troubles or fears
Lest his health might be hurt

And he lived over nine hundred years.
