The FDA Is Making You Sick

__

The FDA and other Federal agencies will NOT consider the ill effects of both chlorination and fluoridation of drinking water in the USA. Europe has almost 100% removed it and purifies water with ozone, which works faster and is totally safe.

The problem is, both chlorine and fluoride are members of the halogen chemical family. They are extremely reactive in many compound forms, but they have reactive qualities between themselves that have been known for over one hundred years. The following by Dr. D. C. Jarvis will explain:

Now while the thyroid gland helpfully stores iodine from the blood passing through it every 17 minutes, the gland may also be made to lose that stored iodine if, for example, we take in drinking water to which chlorine is added, or use too much sodium chloride, whose common name is table salt. There is a well-known law of halogen displacement. The halogen group is made up as follows:

Halogen Family              Relative Atomic Weight
Fluorine                                      19.
Chlorine                                      35.5
Bromine                                       80.
Iodine                                          127.

The critical activity of any one of these four halogens is in inverse proportion to its atomic weight. This means that any one of the four can displace the element with a higher atomic weight, but cannot displace an element with a lower atomic weight. For example, fluorine can displace chlorine, bromine and iodine because fluorine has a lower atomic weight than the other three. Similarly, chlorine can displace bromine and iodine because they both have a higher atomic weight. Likewise, bromine can displace iodine from the body because iodine has a higher atomic weight. But a reverse order is not possible. A knowledge of this well-known chemical law brings us to a consideration of the addition of chlorine to our drinking water as a purifying agent. We secure a drinking water that is harmful to the body not because of its harmful germ content but because the chlorine content now causes the body to lose the much-needed iodine.

What you have just read tells you that chlorine and fluoride (which was not in use in drinking water in Dr. Jarnis's day), flush all the iodine out of your thyroid when you drink them in city water.

The result is:

Because we may live in an iodine-poor area; because drinking water may be treated with chlorine; because we may be sick too often, lack energy and endurance, develop nervous tension, lack the ability of clear thinking, and accumulate unwanted fat, how shall we go about bringing up the iodine content of the body to the point needed?

Also, some blood pressure drugs cause depletion of iodine. Shortage of iodine can result in high blood pressure, and the pharmaceutical industry KNOWS this, but you will never hear a doctor tell you to take iodine when he puts you on blood pressure medications. The result may end up being that you need more and more kinds of BP drugs to deal with the side effects of low iodine.

The solution is:

Buy a water filter for your drinking water which remove BOTH chlorine and fluoride from your water. This will help, but it will not prevent you from absorbing the chemicals from bath and shower water.

The other part of the solution is to supplement iodine:

There are three ways:
1. Eating foods which analysis has shown are particularly rich in iodine. Among these are: all food out of the ocean, radishes, asparagus, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, rhubarb, potatoes, peas, strawberries, mushrooms, lettuce, bananas, cabbage, egg yolk, and onions.
2. Painting a small area of the body with tincture of iodine.
3. Taking preparations known to be rich in iodine. One of these is cod-liver oil. Another is Lugol's solution of iodine. Still another is the kelp tablets hitherto discussed.

You will need to buy Lugol's iodine solution online, and they will probably restrict you to one bottle because it is used in meth labs. You MUST also go online and Google the side effects of over doing it. Dr. Jarvis suggests:

In 1880 a French physician named Lugol originated a solution which contains 5 per cent of elemental iodine in a 10 per cent solution of potassium iodide. It has been used steadily ever since it was originated.

When used to maintain the iodine content of the body the dose is small and is taken only on certain days of the week. When the mineral content of the body is analyzed, only a trace of iodine is found. Ten drops of iodine represent more iodine than is found in the entire body. For this reason, the dose of Lugol's solution of iodine is one or two drops, depending on your body weight. If you weigh 150 pounds  or less, for example, your dose to maintain the normal iodine content of the body is one drop, taken at one meal on Tuesday and Friday of each week. If you weigh more than 150 pounds, the dose should be two drops instead of one. It is useful to remember that the human body works on the minimum of anything it needs. If there should be a rise in sickness in the area where you live, it would be well to take the Lugol's solution three times a week instead of two, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for the purpose of storing up reserve.

There are large inland areas in the USA where iodine is totally missing from the soil, so you will not get it from food. Also, even areas near the ocean that have been over farmed will be deficient. Iodized salt is NOT high enough to offset the effects of iodine depletion by possessed drinking water in our cities.

The FDA and other US Federal agencies KNOW very well that you are at risk, but they do not want to step in because chlorination and fluoridation of water is about the only way huge quantities of the chemicals can be disposed of. So, you are the industrial garbage dump of America in this issue.

I am not suggesting where you go to find Lugol's solution. I am not selling for anyone. So, go Google it yourself. It is not particularly cheap, but then you don't use much to get the results needed to maintain good thyroid health.

You can take with water (plenty of water to avoid stomach issues- see instruction above), or you can paint it on your skin. It will be absorbed. If it is absorbed in just a few hours, you were very low on iodine.

Again, please understand this-- the medical profession will NOT look for iodine deficiency if they can treat your alleged "disorder" with drugs. Iodine is cheap compared to drugs or even surgery. MANY illnesses can be cured with iodine treatment. It is one of the easiest things to try before going on to more invasive solutions.

If you are taking blood pressure drugs, look up side effects before taking iodine. You may need to either add or reduce potassium intake, depending on the drug you are taking. Some blood pressure drugs actually interfere with iodine uptake, which is wicked.

By the way, iodized salt in the store does NOT contain enough iodine to keep you healthy, and many food processors have simply dropped it, assuming that other food processors are doing it. The FDA and USDA do not closely regulate this situation. You are NOT getting enough iodine in the USA-- that is a known fact, unless you eat kelp and ocean fish more than most Americans eat it. The Japanese do not suffer many of the illnesses we Americans suffer because of the kelp in their diet.

Afterthought:

In the event of an atomic blast, or a dirty bomb releasing radioactive material, the thyroid is the gland in the body which grabs the radioactive material and stores it. Most of the rest of the radioactive material will be flushed out. This ends up killing your thyroid, and thus you. The way to prevent this is to flood the thyroid with iodine. This leaves no room for the thyroid to store radioactivity because the thyroid prefers the iodine.

Now, have you ever been told that by the US Government who claim to be watching out for us? Never! All you need is to keep Lugol's on the shelf, and take a high dose, probably about five to eight drops. The next day drop to maybe two drops a day. If it upsets the stomach, rub it on your skin over an area of about six by six inches.

Stay indoors for about twelve days. After that, the radioactive risk is minimal. It also drops greatly if it rains right after contamination. If you don't have Lugol's on hand, keep several packages of dry kelp on hand from an oriental store. It should do the same thing. Boil it and eat a good amount the first day, and keep eating it for the twelve days unless you get side effects. Eating iodized salt in large quantities will NOT help-- it will cause serious edema long before you get enough to help.
