My blogging's been pretty infrequent and random lately, but you'll have to bear with me because school is driving me insane, hitting town on Saturday nights never leaves me feeling too sharp & I am trying to have a depression. Who knows what problems I actually have, but because I'm arrogant I'll suck 'em all up & refuse to talk to anybody else.
I recently tried to confide in someone but that did not work out and I'm regretful, so I will learn from my mistakes & bottle it all up and save it for my suicide letter. Just joking.
I guess Saturday is the only day worth writing about this week. Well I worked a charming 9 hour day which actually wasn't too bad, pretty breezy and I'm quite pro at my job if I do say so myself and it feels pretty good to usually be able to answer just about all customer questions. My one problem is that I'm quite unsure of myself sometimes so ask someone else for assistance even when I usually do know what I'm doing, must learn to trust my own knowledge more.
Anyway after work got quite busy, first things first I had to pick up my dad from the pub on the way home cause I finished at 6pm and he went for a drink with his friends, I only found this out in my last half-hour of work and I had already guaranteed I'd give my workmate, Alice, a ride home because it was pouring with rain. So I quickly took her home, raced back into town to pick up Dad and than I had planned to go to my friend Nick's place for dinner to meet his grandparents. So I raced home, got changed and then went to Nick's. I was kinda late (I said 6.30pm, got there like 6.45pm) and they had already started without me which I wasn't worried about, and they didn't seem to be either, but it left me awkwardly walking in and eating while everyone else had finished and were waiting for cupcake desserts.
If I was going to describe Nick's family in one word, it would be "posh". Words like 'sufficent', 'exceptional' and 'divine' were spilling out of my mouth faster than I could THINK 'fuckballs', which usually comes to mind very fast indeed. I would probably develop bi-polar if I had to act so properly all the time, which is nice & respectful but my late Nana was the only person who really pushed those kind of 'posh' mannerisms onto me as a boy, but I guess I got considerably good manners out of it. Well, to my 'elders' anyway, teenagers can suck it.
Straight after dinner I went to Brandon's house with Nick to hang out for a bit. We went in separate cars because I was going to leave earlier (explain why soon) so, sorry environment, you'll have to forgive me. Nick played some game which was like an old-fashioned Western version of Grand Theft Auto and I literally sat on Brandon's bed & watched him play this game for about an hour. Than we watched an episode of Smallville cause Brandon just brought the Season 1 DVDs, and I used to love this show, so it was kind of like watching a blast from the past.
Rob finished work at 9.30pm and on his way home he heads past my house so he was going to pick me up, go back to his, drink some & then go to town. So I left Brandon's at 9.15pm and got home just in time for Rob's arrival. We went to the alcohol shop first and I bought some (pricey!) '42 Below' feijoa flavoured vodka which was pretty good, but for $30 for 500ml, you'd hope so. We were on chatroulette.com, a really classy* site for a while, and than at about 12am his mum kindly got a taxi for us and even paid for it, so sweet! Town wasn't very good, shit music ALL night, the only song that come on for the entire night that I liked was "I Like It Rough" by Lady Gaga. Otherwise it was all this rapping shit and IDK, no one I knew was around and it was really packed and just wasn't fun. Don't think Rob liked it that much either, he taxied home at like 1.30am but I found my mate Tom in town so hung with him and his cyclist buddies, and by 'hung', I mean danced like a loon.
Anyway at like 2.30am Tom and his lot were leaving so I did too and I was only wearing a tee-shirt and it was cold and raining-ish, so I literally ran all the way home like a crazy person. Still, I found pretty proud of myself - couldn't have done that before I started going to the gym! Was a breeze.
Today I did basically nothing except for feeling like shit & being tired. A fun life indeed. Well there you go, now time to do some celebrities of the week - cause I got TWO to do, cause I didn't do one last week so need to catch up.
