God, the Creator of This World, Shoots Where HE Decides

Here is an article on an earthquake in upstate New York which was not near any known faults. It is not the only such earthquake in New England's history.

Manhattan is sitting on earthquake faults, and the rock and sandstone layers under the city would magnify any earthquake activity. The city waited until after the 1990s to make earthquake building regulations, so they have set themselves up for disaster.

You may wonder how God could tip the USA over the edge. Well, the answer is, God has infinite choices, but a 7.0 quake under New York City or Washington DC would do the job in minutes.

This nation, courtesy of the ever plotting Hidden Hand, and our Presidents for many years, has taken the posture that the USA will rule the economic world. Our consumer power, and our banking and oil manipulations have kept the USA on top. The world is coming to hate this new form of imperialism. 

God hates is even more than our human enemies hate it:


Proverbs 6:16 (KJV) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

In Hebrew culture, the language used implies that one, the seventh, is hated the most. Also, the seventh is top of the list, not last as our modern thinking would have it. So, God HATES a proud look. No President in modern US history has personified pride worse than Barak Obama. His smiles are those of a manikin. Behind them is supreme arrogance. 

The problem is, the vast majority of Americans are filled with pride, each person in his own context. Sarah Palin is a major load of pride. So is Janiet Napolitano and Hillary Clinton. The whole society reeks with pride, and the world knows us well for it. It is in the blood of Anglo-Saxons, and it seems that we have distilled it into a massive life force upon which the USA feasts daily.

So, God is coming. Mark it down.

Psalms 147:6 (KJV) The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

About 45 seconds of shaking is all it takes.


So, what do YOU have to be proud of? 

If you are "in Christ," you can only boast of the infinite love Christ showed as he died for you on the Cross. If you are NOT "in Christ," you can only boast that you will go to hell for your pride.

Lastly, if you are "in Christ," are you guilty of being part of the pride fest now in progress across America? If so, you are worthless to God as salt in this putrid age.
