Not exactly sure why, but I guess my school's having a teachers only day and than another day off, not really sure and I don't really care - four day weekend's good to me! So today I was intending on having lunch with my friend Brandon, along with Nick, but this morning he let me know he was quite sick and was missing a lecture for the first time ever, so I guess that means he really was quite sick.
So Nick and I decided to do something still, so we went to lunch at my favourite restaurant in the world, a That place called "Chokdee". DELICIOUS. We invited Oscar, Rob, Ash and Nat but the last two were whores and didn't come. "Whatever." Natalie would say in her overly dramatised nasal valley-girl voice, well, in my imaginative perception anyway. So that was good and afterwards we went to Morrison Street café which was awful. So not going there again, unless somebody else is paying, in which case I'm keen. Nelson (my city) is cursed with terrible cafés! I'll never understand why drinks are so exorbitantly expensive. $3 for a decent sized coffee is fair for me, fuck just make it an instant coffee, I really don't care - just make it big and make it quickly. Sick of overpriced, tiny drinks that are 50% foam and chocolate sprinkles. So annoying.
A girl, Lea, who was an exchange student from Germany has been on holiday here for the last few weeks and it's her last few days so we had a little goodbye dinner at another restaurant, "Poppy Thai" (which is NOT as good as "Chokdee" at all), which was shockingly small because everyone's gone away for the long weekend, but we manage to get six of us (four came later but didn't order anything, three just back from netball tournament and the other, Natalie, had just finished work) together and we had a nice wee meal and chat & it was quite good.
So yeah, not the most interesting of blogs but the point of having a blog is to blog, and there's nothing special on my mind. Off to watch "Chelsea Lately", bye!

VERY Brief Catch-Up
I have better things to do than blogging right now, like... watching 'Chelsea Lately' and re-runs of 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'. Let's just say my first two days of senior year (I say that cause for some reason I get the impression that it's like, a big deal in USA, which incase you haven't noticed, seems to dominate 90% of the internet.) (Btw, that's not a good thing.) have been less (believe it, or not) than amazing.
Everybody can suck it.
Anyway, in a time crunch. HOPEFULLY will blog tomorrow. Byee!

untitled ~for you~
I’m a violet sunset
A next-gen soldier
I don’t want to forget
I wanna be stronger
There are footprints you’ve left on my life
Conversations I want to relieve those hours
I need to believe
~ It Won't Matter, Saint Vox
It's been ages since I've blogged properly I admit, but never fear for I have returned. I literally have no idea why I type as if a million people read this and actually care about my posts, but for the sake of this being my own little piece of paradise, I mean, why else would it be called "Joey Nation"? Well, apart from the fact that Joeytopia was taken, but because it represents that this is my blog and if you don't like what I read, then suck it. Now, the facts are, if my family or close friends were really to read this, I would be embarrassed and hate them cause blogging is pretty internet addict-like, but for the sake of my pride, "I don't give a f--k." I love how whenever you re-tell something, you'll always say something like "So I was like 'Fuck you!' etc." when really you sat there, smiled and only thought of it but never dare to say it. Unless you're one of those people that are just rude in public and are literally a nightmare. Know some people like that only too well... *sigh* The life I lead.
Well apart from possibly catching scabies (if you can), life is truly very good right now. Well, excluding the fact I feel enormous, ugly and have work tomorrow. Considering the many lows I've endured in my life, this is definitely not the lowest. I've had a very enjoyable week catching up with relatives (hence, my blogging disappearance) and seeing friends and special people. Some are especially special these days too! And no, if you know me at all (aka. done the tiniest bit of stalking)- you'll think it's someone (and it probs should be) - but really, it's not that person, and it's someone else that's so worthy of mention but I shall just resist for the sake of it. Eitherway, that person is amazing. :) That person knows who they are. Anyway, let's just say MSN isn't always boring. How did Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson begin their relationship after all?
Wish me luck at work tomorrow... bedtime soon, well, after Chelsea Lately at 10.30pm obviously.
